Give your outgrown pre-kindergarten books a new home. We donate your books to Head Start programs and other classrooms dedicated to educating children in low income families. The books are for the children to take home and own.
What We Need
Please do not donate textbooks, encyclopedias, scribbled-in books, damaged books, or musty books. We only can do minor repairs. We also most definitely can use new books.

Children Read is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. It also has non-profit status in the state of Georgia. All donations are tax deductible.
The value of donations for tax purposes is fair market value (the price charged in a store) for used items. IRS publications 561 (Determining the Value of Donated Property) and 526 (Charitable Contributions) are useful in determining value.
